Yuki Ito (伊藤 悠貴 Yūki Itō?) is a Japanese classical cellist.

Yuki Ito made an international début with the Philharmonia Orchestra in a performance of the Cello Concerto (Dvořák) conducted by Owain Arwel Hughes at the Windsor Castle.

Education

Yuki Ito began playing the cello at the age of six, and studied with cellist and conductor David Geringas and Alexander Boyarsky at the Royal College of Music, where he graduated.

Career

Ito has won four major 1st prizes at the 17th International Brahms Competition, the 3rd Windsor International String Competition, the 20th International FLAME Competition in Paris, and the 6th Antonio Janigro International Cello Competition, winning over the prize winners of the Tchaikovsky International Competition and Rostropovich International Cello Competition.
